The Krasnoyarsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in negligence entailing violation of rights and legal interests of citizens under Part 1 of Article 293 of the RF Penal Code.
The Investigative Committee’s Head Office has established more facts of shelling settlements in southeastern Ukraine. In accordance with Article 12 of the RF Criminal Code foreign citizens who have committed a crime outside the Russian Federation shall be prosecuted under the RF Criminal Law in the cases provided for by the international agreement of the Russian Federation if they have not been prosecuted in foreign stat. Therefore, 3 more criminal cases have been opened over the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare under Part 1 of Article 356 of the RF Penal Code.
Several people were killed and many more injured as a severe storm hit the city of Moscow and its environs on 29 May 2017. As of now the death toll stands at 11 people in Moscow, while one girl was killed in Moscow Region. The exact number of victims and the amount of damage done are being confirmed.
